OneNewsNow.com put an interesting articleout there saying roughly half of Americans shift their religious affiliation over the course of their life. The findings aren’t anything earth shattering in that many of the shifts are as simple as changing protestant denominations. What I did find interesting is that most drop their childhood faith roots by age 24 and pick up a new one by 36. This is a window of searching in people’s lives that the church would do well to reach out to.
