Matt Chandler on Next Steps

Chandler observes that none of us are onto something new; it’s just our turn.  It’s our turn to grow it our own form out of 2000 years of roots given to us by those who’ve gone before.

Hebrews 12 tells us to shed hindrances.  Put sin to death, but it’s not just about avoiding sin.  If all you do is avoid sin, you’ll be held down by hindrances.  Sometimes God wounds us deeply to protect us from ourselves.
